Cookie policy

Terms and information for using Bivetica Invoice.

01

First-party cookies

The Invoice session cookie keeps you signed in, XSRF-TOKEN protects forms and bv_region remembers a pricing-region choice. They support the requested service. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in or form submission. We do not add advertising or audience-analytics cookies to Invoice.

02

HMRC browser storage

When you use the HMRC VAT connection, bivetica-hmrc-device in local storage keeps a browser identifier used for HMRC fraud prevention. It remains until browser storage is cleared. Browser user agent, screen and window size, scaling, timezone and network details are sent with relevant HMRC requests. The current connection is sandbox-only.

03

Hosted Stripe and Direct Debit pages

Stripe Checkout, its billing portal and any optional Link feature use their own cookies or similar technologies for checkout, remembered details, authentication, security and fraud prevention. GoCardless hosted pages have their own storage and privacy notices. These pages are separate from ordinary browsing of Invoice. Choices offered by those providers apply on their pages.

04

Your controls

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser. This may sign you out, remove preferences or cause a new HMRC browser identifier to be created. Use the payment provider’s settings to manage optional remembered-payment features. Clearing browser storage does not cancel a subscription or delete accounting records.
