Accessibility statement

How accessible Bivetica Invoice is, and how to get help.

01

Who this statement covers

This statement covers Bivetica Invoice at invoice.bivetica.com, including invoicing, payroll, HMRC filing, payslips, P60 and P45 forms, and the employee portal. It is provided by Jonathan Mills, a sole trader trading as Bivetica. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it.

02

What you should be able to do

You should be able to zoom the page to 200% without text spilling off the screen, use the service on a phone, move through pages and forms with a keyboard, use a screen reader, and change colours and text size in your browser.

03

How accessible this service is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Bivetica Invoice is partially compliant: every web page we tested meets the standard, but the downloadable PDF forms listed below do not yet.

04

Known problems

The PDF versions of the P60 and P45 are laid out to HMRC's printed design and are not tagged, so a screen reader may not read them in the right order. Each one has a "web version" link next to it that shows the same form as an accessible web page, and payslips are web pages already. You can also ask us for the information in another format. On 24 October 2026 we fixed the problems found in our first review: low-contrast text and links, unlabelled drop-down lists, a link shown only by colour, the page-number buttons and tables that scroll sideways without keyboard access.

05

When the problems will be fixed

We plan to make the PDF files themselves accessible by 31 January 2027; until then, use the web versions. New pages are checked with automated accessibility testing before release.

06

How we tested

This statement was prepared on 23 October 2026 and last reviewed on 24 October 2026. We tested 46 pages, including the dashboard, invoices, quotes, customers, products, reports, employees, payroll, pensions, benefits, HMRC filing and notices, settings, integrations, the trust centre and sign-in, with the axe-core automated tool against WCAG 2.2 level A and AA, and checked them at desktop and phone screen sizes. We review this statement every March, when we update the service for the new tax year.

07

Report a problem or ask for another format

If something does not work for you, or you need information in a different format such as large print, plain text or an accessible document, email hello@bivetica.com or call 01491 712012. We will reply within 5 working days.

08
